Hi fellow fig-heads,
I'm very interested in finding hybrids that give a buttress-trunked, hardy fig.
Anyone else in the U.K?

welcome to the forum! did you ever see my fig thread in the pushingborders forum? i think that most of the members of that forum are in the uk.
when i cross carica with more tropical ficus, you can look at the hybrids in 2 ways. they are caricas better adapted to tropical conditions... or they are tropical ficus better adapted to temperate conditions.

All I can say is, that we cause no intentional harm with figs and our intentions are always good....well mostly, and we enjoy all, or most of the challenges of growing figs.
